We are feline friendly gold certified through AAHA. Associates who are interested in either full- or part-time scheduling are encouraged to apply.

Nestled in Cherokee County, North Carolina we sit in the Appalachian Mountains and have all the amenities of the great outdoors.  Our small town is big on outdoor adventures as we are surrounded by lakes, creeks, forests and mountains.  Horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking, camping, kayaking and white-water rafting are some of the things we do to maintain our work-life balance.  Community and family life is rich in Andrews, NC with school events and youth group activities happening regularly.  When you are ready to head into a big city, within two hours you can drive to Asheville, Knoxville or Chattanooga.  Atlanta is also close by as well, only 150 miles away from us.  You can see why Cherokee County is known to be “only two hours from anywhere”.

We are looking for a compassionate and knowledgeable people person to join our team.  We welcome new grads and offer mentorship and training.  We see a wide array of challenging cases and have a skilled support staff who is here to assist you in offering comprehensive veterinary medical care.  Your love of general practice and routine surgeries will mesh perfectly with our medical director’s interests in internal medicine. We welcome both new and experienced veterinarians to join our team. DVM or equivalent degreed professional credentials are required.  We are ready to welcome you on board immediately.  The successful candidate will need to be licensed by the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Board within 90 days of accepting the position.

Andrews Veterinary Hospital is up to date in terms of diagnostic equipment and techniques and making improvements by the day.  Our newly procured, cloud-based, veterinary software will allow you to enter and access medical records onsite or virtually.  We have two registered veterinary technicians, six veterinary nurses and two nursing assistants who all totaled have more than 100 years of veterinary experience.  We refer our emergencies to a local emergency referral hospital and plan full time shifts to have a long weekend off every other weekend.

We are flexible and want to work with you to design the work experience you are looking for.  CVs/resumes and cover letters should be emailed to kemba@marshallrecruitingconsortium.com for consideration.  Andrews Animal Hospital is an equal opportunity employer.
