Job Description

Tenure or Clinical Track faculty position in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging within the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences, Center for Veterinary Health Sciences at Oklahoma State University.

Academic Rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities include clinical instructional service and classroom instruction for veterinary students, support of house officer training programs, and scholarly work.

Exposure to animal diseases that may be transmitted to humans. Subject to animal scratches or bites. Exposure to chemicals and pharmaceuticals used in treatment of animals, medical waste, and animal feces, urine, blood, and vomit. Loud noises related to small and large animal routine.

Must comply with mandatory rabies pre-exposure vaccine program.

Minimum Qualifications:

D.V.M. or comparable veterinary degree

Residency training in Diagnostic Imaging

For the position, DVM degree or equivalent is required. The candidate must be board eligible or certified by the American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR) or the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI).
