Job Description
This position is within the CVM Dean’s Office and is primarily responsible for providing administrative support and assistance to Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and, as needed, assists CVM Dean, Executive Administrative Assistant to Dean, Student Services and other dean office areas with special activities and events.
This position manages and coordinates the following programs: CVM Graduation, CVM Transition Ceremony, CVM Induction Ceremony, CVM Advisor program, CVM Achievement through Mentoring Program, the International Veterinary Student Exchange Program and assists with coordination for the Clerkship program.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School/GED
Five years of administrative support and customer/student-service related experience.
Completion of Ambassador and Leadership Development Programs within two years of hire.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Power Point & Publisher) & database management. Detail oriented, self-starter with organizational skills and ability to multitask. Management and effective leadership skills to coordinate projects. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written. Ability to prioritize duties and meet deadlines while adapting to change. Strong work ethic and professionalism. Dependable team player with knowledge of and experience with OSU systems (Banner, OKCorral, AIRS, etc.). policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Communications, or Public Relations
